RCF NX 945-A is an active speaker featuring a 15-inch neodymium woofer and a high-performance compression driver with a 4" titanium/neodymium voice coil. Designed to handle high sound pressure levels with clarity and control, it suits various audio environments such as front-of-house systems, monitors, flown setups, or as a satellite speaker with a subwoofer.

Clear Sound Reproduction and Controlled Bass

Equipped with RCF’s DSP technologies FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control, the speaker ensures a phase-linear frequency response and optimized motion control of the woofer. This provides a balanced sound image from 45 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 135 dB without compromising definition or consistency.

Built-in Amplifier and Adjustable Sound Settings

The integrated two-channel Class D amplifier delivers up to 2100 watts (peak), with 700 W to the high frequencies and 1400 W to the lows. With a crossover point at 650 Hz and built-in limiter and thermal protection, the speaker maintains reliable performance under continuous load. Sound shaping is available via presets such as Linear, Boost, and Stage, along with volume control.

Mounting Options and Durable Construction

The cabinet is made from plywood and includes multiple rigging points (M10 and Quick Lock) for flexible installation—on a stand, wall, ceiling, or truss. Its robust design is tailored for both mobile and fixed setups, with integrated handle and protective steel grille.

Connectivity and Power

NX 945-A offers balanced and unbalanced input via combo XLR/TRS connector, with an XLR output for link-through. Power is supplied using PowerCON TRUE1 TOP in/out connectors, ensuring reliable operation in professional environments.
