Analog Level Converter for Professional Audio Environments
Bridging Studio and Consumer Levels
The Lake People F822 is an 8-channel analog line converter designed to adapt signal levels between professional studio equipment (+6 dBu) and consumer audio devices (–10 dBV). With high precision and minimal distortion, it is suitable for mastering, broadcasting, and live sound applications where different standards need to be integrated.
Two Independent Stereo Sections
Equipped with two separate stereo paths, the F822 enables bi-directional conversion between balanced and unbalanced signals. This makes it easy to connect studio gear with home audio systems or broadcast setups.
Low Noise and High Signal Integrity
Thanks to its high-quality analog circuitry, the F822 offers an ultra-low noise floor and wide dynamic range, preserving the clarity of the audio signal even at high levels.
Precise Level Adjustment
Gain and attenuation can be adjusted within a range of –21 to +3 dBu, allowing for accurate level matching and preventing signal clipping or loss.
Flexible for Fixed and Mobile Installations
Housed in a sturdy 1U (19”) rackmount chassis, the F822 is suitable for both fixed studio setups and mobile environments such as OB trucks. The internal power supply supports both 230 V and 115 V operation for global compatibility.
