The Evans Edge Control Reverse Dot (ECSRD) is a 10-inch snare drumhead designed to deliver a controlled, focused sound while maintaining sensitivity. It features a dual-ply construction with different thicknesses, a reinforcement dot on the underside, and an integrated damping ring. This combination provides a balanced tone with defined attack, controlled overtones, and an open character.

Dual-Ply Design with Damping

The drumhead is built from an outer layer of 7 mil and an inner layer of 10 mil, offering a durable yet responsive playing surface. The integrated Edge Control Ring reduces unwanted overtones without fully choking the sound, while a 3 mil Reverse Dot underneath enhances attack in the center.

Even Fit and Tuning with Level 360

Evans’ Level 360 profile ensures an accurate fit to the drum shell, making the head easier to tune evenly. The design allows the head to sit flat right from installation, contributing to consistent tone and wide tuning range.
