S2 er en serie gitarer fra PRS der man har tatt alt det som har gjort PRS kjent og pakket det inn i et noe enklere format. Man har gjort små endringer på instrumentene for å kunne forenkle produksjonen og holde prisen nede. Eksempelvis er lønnetoppen ikke like dramatisk buet og noe hardware er litt enklere. Du har heller ikke helt samme mulighet til å skreddersy din gitar. Med S2 velger du mellom forutbestemte farger og inlays og så er det bare å rocke i vei. Alle instrumenter er bygd i USA på PRS-fabrikken i Annapolis og har samme overlegne kvalitet og spillbarhet som sine dyrere forgjengere.
