EQ Boost Pedal for Electric Guitar – with Tight Control and Bypassable EQ
Flexible Signal Boost with Adjustable EQ
The Friedman Buxom Boost is an analog boost pedal that combines clean gain with a versatile EQ section. It is designed to either amplify the signal transparently or allow the user to shape the tone using an active treble control and passive mid and bass knobs. A separate “Tight” control adjusts the low-end response, useful when boosted signals affect bass clarity.
EQ Bypass and Low-End Control
The pedal’s EQ section can be bypassed entirely with a dedicated switch, providing a clean boost without tone shaping. This function allows the pedal to be used either for tone sculpting or simply to strengthen the signal without coloration. The combination of EQ, tight control, and bypass makes it suitable for various guitar types and complex signal chains.
