The Lake People MC50 is a monitor controller designed for studio environments where flexibility and precision in signal management are essential. With two inputs, two line outputs, a dedicated slave output, and an integrated headphone amplifier, the MC50 offers functionality that goes beyond standard devices in a 19-inch rack format.

Built-In Headphone Amplifier with Pre-Gain

The headphone output features a balanced design and is powered by four output stages. Volume can be pre-adjusted using the Pre-Gain control, and the X-Feed function reduces perceived stereo width for more natural headphone playback, particularly during longer sessions.

Advanced Stereo Signal Functions

The MC50 allows users to manipulate the stereo signal in multiple ways. Options include solo listening to the left or right channel, channel swapping, mono summing, and phase inversion on the right channel—helpful for mix analysis or troubleshooting.

Low Noise and Minimal Distortion

Engineered for maximum signal integrity, the MC50 offers extremely low noise and distortion, optimized within the physical limits of analog technology.

High-Resolution Volume Control

The RK27 volume control features 41 stepped positions, allowing for precise level adjustments and repeatable settings for accurate comparisons.
