The Akai MPC X Special Edition is a standalone music production device with over 35 years of heritage. It combines powerful features and flexibility for today’s demanding music creators. The unit offers the largest internal storage, the most memory, and the most hardware controls in the MPC series. MPC X SE is designed to provide a complete workstation without the need for an external computer.

Display and User Interface

The large 10.1-inch multi-touch display has an adjustable viewing angle for optimal working comfort. Sixteen illuminated MPC pads and sixteen Q-Link knobs with OLED displays provide extensive control options. A level meter with an OLED display helps monitor audio levels and signal flow.

Memory and Processing Power

The device features 48 GB of internal storage, including 16 GB reserved for custom sounds and projects. It has 4 GB of RAM to support sampling and recording. A powerful quad-core ARM processor runs all functions.

Connectivity and Compatibility

The MPC X Special Edition offers a wide range of connections for MIDI, line and microphone inputs, instrument inputs, as well as multiple outputs for line and headphones. It supports SD cards, USB 3.0, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Ableton Link 3 for smooth integration into various workflows.
