This console rack is designed to hold both mixers and standard rack-mounted audio equipment. The upper section is slanted for easy access to controls, while the lower section accommodates standard 19-inch units. Suitable for both touring and fixed installations.

Construction and Design

The case is built from 9 mm laminated plywood and reinforced with metal corners. It features 3.2 mm thick steel rack rails on the front and an extruded aluminum tongue-and-groove frame for a secure fit. The rack includes removable lids on the top and front, with doors on the rear for full equipment access.

Features and Compatibility

The slanted top section holds 12 rack units (12U), and the straight lower section adds another 12U. The rack is compatible with models such as the Soundcraft MixWizard and Yamaha 01V. For transport, it is equipped with heavy-duty casters, spring-loaded rubber-gripped handles, and recessed twist latches.
