Introduced in 1960 as Gibsons first guitar with a square shoulder, the Hummingbird marked the beginning of a new era in music and was quickly embraced by leading artists on the scene.

Built with a thermally aged Sitka spruce top, the 1960 Hummingbird reflects both the look and performance of the early icons. It features a Light Aged finish performed by the craftsmen at Murphy Lab. The Murphy Lab Light Aged finish, combined with lightly aged hardware, simulates decades of gentle wear during play, giving it the unique character, feel, and vibe of an original from Gibsons golden era.
