Multiband Distortion with Tone Control

The Microtubes X Ultra is a further development of the X7 model, combining a preamp, distortion pedal, and cabinet emulation in a compact format. By splitting the high and low frequency ranges with adjustable filters, distortion is applied only to the upper frequencies. This allows the low end to remain clean and powerful while adding character and saturation to the top end.

Built-in EQ and Cabinet Simulation

The pedal features a 6-band graphic EQ providing control over the midrange spectrum from 250 Hz to 3 kHz, as well as low and high-shelf filters. The integrated IR module allows for cabinet simulation when connecting directly to a mixer or audio interface.

Functions for Both Live and Practice

In addition to the main distortion channel, there's a clean mode that retains the compressor, EQ, and cabinet simulation but bypasses the distortion. An auxiliary input makes it possible to connect a phone or computer to play along with tracks via headphones, ideal for silent practice.
