EarthQuaker Devices Zoar Dynamic Audio Grinder
Transistor-Based Distortion Pedal
The Zoar Dynamic Audio Grinder is an all-analog distortion pedal built exclusively with transistors — no op-amps or clipping diodes. This design delivers a dynamic, touch-sensitive response reminiscent of amplifier tones, making it adaptable to different playing styles.
Flexible Tone Shaping with 3-Band EQ
Zoar features a passive 3-band EQ tailored for shaping modern distortion sounds. The interactive EQ section allows you to adjust your sound from subtle breakup to heavy saturation. The "Weight" control adjusts how much low-end content passes through the circuit, shaping the pedal’s core character.
Suitable for Guitar and Bass
Designed for both guitar and bass, Zoar covers a range of sounds — from defined overdrive tones to low- and medium-gain fuzz textures. The pedal can also operate at up to 18 V for expanded dynamic range, tighter low end, and increased output with enhanced tonal clarity.
