4-String Electric Bass – Ibanez SR1300SB-MGL Premium

Part of the Ibanez Premium series, this bass is designed for comfortable playability and stable performance. The body combines ash, panga panga, and mahogany for a balanced tonal character. The neck is a 5-piece Atlas-4 HP design made from panga panga and purpleheart, reinforced with two KTS™ titanium rods for added stability. The bound panga panga fingerboard features oval abalone inlays and 24 medium frets with Premium Fret Edge treatment.

Electronics and Sound

Equipped with two Nordstrand® Big Break pickups in the neck and bridge positions, the bass features an Ibanez Custom 3-band EQ tailored to these pickups. The electronics include an EQ bypass switch and a 3-way mid frequency switch for adjusting the midrange focus (250 Hz, 450 Hz, or 700 Hz).

Bridge and Hardware

The Ibanez Mono-Rail MR5S bridge isolates each string for optimal vibration transfer to the body. The nut is a Graph Tech® Black TUSQ XL model, and the hardware has a black finish.
