The SR1355B-DUF is a 5-string electric bass from the Ibanez Premium series, delivered with a gigbag. It features a slim walnut body with Panga Panga and maple top, and an Atlas-5 five-piece Panga Panga/Purpleheart neck. The design is lightweight and balanced for comfort during extended playing sessions.

Neck and Fingerboard

The neck is reinforced with KTS titanium rods to stabilize it and reduce sensitivity to humidity, also minimizing the risk of twisting or warping at the 12th fret. The fingerboard is made of Panga Panga with abalone inlays and 24 medium frets with Premium Fret Edge treatment. A Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut is included.

Electronics

The bass is equipped with Nordstrand Big Single single-coil pickups at the neck and bridge. The Ibanez 3-band EQ is calibrated for these pickups and includes a bypass switch and a midrange switch that shifts the mid frequency between 250 Hz and 600 Hz. The EQ provides boost/cut for bass and treble, midrange, as well as master volume and pickup balance controls.

Bridge

The Ibanez Mono-Rail 5S bridge isolates each string for optimal vibration transfer to the body. The bridge is stable and easy to adjust.
