Ibanez SR1356B-DUF – Premium 6-String Electric Bass with Gigbag

The SR1356B-DUF is a 6-string electric bass from Ibanez’s Premium series, delivered with a gigbag. It features a slim walnut body with Panga Panga and maple top, and an Atlas-6 six-piece Panga Panga/Purpleheart neck. The construction is lightweight and balanced for comfort during extended playing sessions.

Neck and Fretboard

The neck is reinforced with KTS titanium rods for stability and reduced sensitivity to humidity, minimizing the risk of twisting or deformation at the 12th fret. The Panga Panga fretboard has abalone oval inlays and 24 medium frets with Premium Fret Edge treatment. The Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut is included.

Electronics

The bass is equipped with Nordstrand Big Single single-coil pickups at the neck and bridge. The Ibanez 3-band EQ is tailored for these pickups and includes a bypass switch and midrange switch to select the working frequency (250 Hz or 600 Hz). The EQ provides boost/cut for bass, treble, and midrange, along with master volume and pickup balance controls.

Bridge

The Ibanez Mono-Rail 5S bridge isolates each string for optimal vibration transfer to the body. The bridge is stable and easy to adjust.
